In a shocking turn of events, Charles Price finds himself entwined in an unlikely partnership with Lola, a flamboyant drag queen cabaret singer, to save his family's struggling shoe factory from demise. As they embark on a journey to create custom footwear for drag queens, their initial designs are met with scorn, but they persevere, guided by their newfound friendship and determination. When all seems lost, Charlie and Lola find an unlikely way to showcase their creations in Milan, and in the process, discover that sometimes it takes a little bit of kink to bring people together.
