The Half-Breed

In this 1916 Western melodrama, Douglas Fairbanks stars as Lo Dorman, a man ostracized from society due to his mixed Native American and white heritage, which he catches the eye of rich white debutante Nellie (Jewel Carmen), but becomes a target for racist Sheriff Dunn (Sam De Grasse). The film follows Lo's complicated love triangle with Nellie, Teresa (Alma Rubens) an outlaw who is his social equal, and the sheriff. Through fire and fury, Lo must decide who he truly loves amidst false accusations.
