Russian Dolls

Xavier Rousseau (Romain Duris) recounts his past year on a Eurostar train as he struggles to find success as a writer in Paris. He reconnects with friends and acquaintances, including his ex-girlfriend Martine (Audrey Tautou), who is now a single mother, and his current friend Isabelle (Cécile de France). Xavier also travels to London to co-write a screenplay with Wendy (Kelly Reilly) and later reunites with her in Saint Petersburg before their relationship ends. The film follows Xavier's misadventures as he navigates love, friendships, and career struggles amidst various European locations.
