The Valley of the Bees

In 13th century Bohemia, young Ondrej is cast out by his father and joins the Order of the Teutonic Knights, where he is raised by strict monk Armin. After years of hardship, Ondrej escapes from the Order when he is wrongly punished, setting him on a path to reclaim his inheritance and confront the harsh realities of his new role. Returning home, he must face his father's dead body, a stepmother who has become his friend's wife, and the fanatical devotion of Armin, who will stop at nothing to bring Ondrej back under his control.
