A 1956 British science fiction horror film, The Gamma People tells the story of Mike Wilson (Paul Douglas), a reporter who, while stranded in an Iron Curtain country, discovers that its dictator is using gamma rays to transform children into mutated henchmen under the guidance of mad scientist Koerner (Philip Leaver).
