In this irreverent comedy, two phone operators, Pierre and Thérèse, are stuck with the Christmas Eve shift in a Paris office, much to their dismay. As they navigate a night of misadventures, including encounters with a depressed transvestite, an abusive boyfriend, and a pregnant woman on the run, the line between holiday cheer and chaos is blurred.
