Jane Elliott Against the World

Jane Elliott Against the World is a 2026 American documentary film directed and produced by Judd Ehrlich, following a rural Iowa schoolteacher, Jane Elliott, as she becomes a national voice against racism after leading a controversial 1968 lesson in discrimination with her all-white third-grade class. Now nearly 90, Elliott continues to speak out as she approaches age 90, addressing contemporary debates about race, history, and power. The film features Elliott alongside herself in archive footage, played by Oprah Winfrey, Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, and Killer Mike.
