The King of Marvin Gardens

"The King of Marvin Gardens" follows David Staebler (Jack Nicholson), a depressive living in Philadelphia, as he reunites with his brother Jason (Bruce Dern) in Atlantic City, where they live with a manic depressive woman named Sally and her stepdaughter Jessica. The brothers discuss a scheme to build a casino in Hawaii, which sparks tensions among the four inhabitants of their hotel suite. As complications pile up, David's concerns about the plan are dismissed by Jason, leading to a tragic confrontation that ends with Sally's violent outburst and David's desperate attempt to escape Atlantic City with his brother's corpse.
