Biography

Joshua Mostel is an American actor born on December 21, 1946, in New York City. He began his career as a boy soprano at the Metropolitan Opera and later graduated from Brandeis University. Notable film roles include Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973), Blotto Blutarsky in Delta House (1979), and Arthur Brooks in Big Daddy (1999).
