I Walk Alone

Frankie Madison (Burt Lancaster) returns to New York after 14 years in prison and visits his former partner Noll "Dink" Turner (Kirk Douglas), who now runs a swanky nightclub called the Regency. Frankie expects Noll to honor their old bargain, but Noll double-crosses him and has his goons beat up Frankie before dumping him on the sidewalk. With the help of his ex-girlfriend Kay Lawrence (Lizabeth Scott), Frankie sets out for revenge against Noll, who ultimately meets a deadly end at the hands of police.
