Deliverance

Four Atlanta businessmen, Lewis Medlock (Burt Reynolds), Ed Gentry (Jon Voight), Bobby Trippe (Ned Beatty), and Drew Ballinger (Ronny Cox), decide to go whitewater canoeing down the Cahulawassee River in the remote northern Georgia wilderness before it becomes dammed. They see it as a test of manliness while also wanting to experience this part of nature before the whole valley is flooded over. However, the perils of nature are not the only dangerous things in their midst, unfriendly wood folk are about to bring another dimension in terror.
