Demolition Man

In 1996 Los Angeles, psychopathic criminal Simon Phoenix kidnaps a busload of passengers and is subsequently sentenced to cryogenic freezing alongside police officer John Spartan, who is branded "The Demolition Man" for his destructive tactics. Thirty-six years later, in the seemingly utopian city of San Angeles, Phoenix escapes and wreaks havoc on the future, prompting Spartan's awakening to capture him. As Spartan navigates this strange new world, he must confront a crime-free society that has forgotten what true terror looks like, leading to a battle between the old guard of law enforcement and the free-wheeling rebels who refuse to be silenced.
