Follow the Fleet

In 1936, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers star in "Follow the Fleet," a nautical-themed musical comedy that showcases their signature blend of dance, music, and romance. When sailor Bake Baker reunites with his old dancing partner Sherry Martin at a San Francisco ballroom during a period of liberty, he must navigate his lingering feelings for her while also helping his buddy Bilge Smith romance Sherry's sister Connie. As the story unfolds, Bake stages a benefit show to save the ship of his friend's deceased sea captain father and wins over Sherry's heart, all set to Irving Berlin's catchy musical numbers.
