Throw Momma from the Train

Novelist Larry Donner struggles with writer's block due to his resentment towards his ex-wife Margaret, who took all the credit for his manuscript and received acclaim for it. As a student in Larry's creative writing class, Owen Lift fantasizes about killing his overbearing mother and forms a plan to kill Margaret, believing that Larry will, in return, kill Mrs. Lift. The two men engage in a series of misadventures as they navigate their own dark pasts and the twisted game of murder and betrayal they've created together, with Owen's goal eventually being outdone by his own second thoughts and Larry's growing realization that he's been living in the shadow of his ex-wife's success.
