Frank Sinatra stars as Tony Manetta, an impractical widower trying to hold onto his Miami hotel and connect with his 12-year-old son Ally amidst debt, desperation, and greyhound racing. With the help of his older brother Mario, played by Edward G. Robinson, Tony must confront his own financial mismanagement and take a hard look at his future - one that may involve love, business, and a second chance at happiness.
