"Khodorkovsky," a documentary about Mikhail Khodorkovsky's rise and fall as one of Russia's wealthiest businessmen, follows his personal journey to return to Russia despite knowing he will be imprisoned upon his return. The film features archival footage of Vladimir Putin, George W. Bush, and Joschka Fischer, all speaking with Khodorkovsky himself. Through 180 hours of interviews with over 70 people, director Kirill Tushkin recounts the story of a man who defied Russian politics to challenge President Putin.
