Biography

John Howard was a versatile American actor known for his iconic roles in Lost Horizon (1937) and The Philadelphia Story (1940). He also starred as Bulldog Drummond in seven films produced by Paramount. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Howard began his career with small roles before landing bigger parts, including the titular character in the Bulldog Drummond mysteries.
