Hirofumi Arai
Biography
Hirofumi Arai is a third-generation Zainichi Korean actor born on January 18, 1979. He began his acting career at 22, debuting in Isao Yukisada's Go in 2001 and winning the Best New Actor award for Toshiaki Toyoda's Blue Spring. Notable roles include Detective Kazuhiko Soga in the TV crime thriller Douki (2011) and a range of characters in Japanese live-action adaptations, such as Kyosuke Suzuki in "Typhoon Family".
