Roland Armontel

Biography

Roland Armontel was a French actor born Auguste Louis Magnin in 1901, who began performing at just days old and later joined the Pile ou face troupe alongside Elvire Popesco. He appeared in numerous films, including "Razzia" and "Ni vu, ni connu," before transitioning to stage work, where he created over 129 plays and played 300 roles during his career. During World War II, he directed the Théâtre de Paris.
