Christopher Allport

Biography

Christopher Allport was born Alexander Wise Allport Jr. on June 17, 1947, in Boston and began his acting career at nine in New Canaan, Connecticut's Children's Theatre. He worked with notable directors Paul Sills and Paul Linke, performing in various productions in New York and Los Angeles. Notable highlights include his early television role as Tim McGowan on Another World (1973-74) and his starring role in the 2007 theatrical memoir The Backroad Home.
