Ricardo Montalbán was a renowned Mexican-American actor with a seven-decade career spanning motion pictures, radio, television, theatre, and film. Notably, he played Khan Noonien Singh in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) and Mr. Roarke on Fantasy Island (1977–1984), for which he won an Emmy Award in 1978. Montalbán also starred as Armando in the Planet of the Apes film series, including Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971).
