Madame X

In this 1966 suspense drama film, Lana Turner stars as Holly Parker, a woman who fakes her own death after the accidental killing of a man who pursued her. Assuming a new identity, she embarks on a perilous journey, sinking into depravity and alcoholism, before returning to the city of her downfall to commit a murder. Her son, now a successful attorney, unwittingly defends her at her trial, as she remains silent throughout, signing a confession with the letter "X" that ultimately leads to her redemption.
