Lana Turner was a Hollywood icon who rose to fame as a teenage ingénue in films like They Won't Forget and Love Finds Andy Hardy. Her career spanned five decades, with notable highlights including her iconic roles in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Postman Always Rings Twice. She became one of MGM's biggest stars, earning over $1 billion for the studio during her 18-year contract. Turner died from throat cancer in 1995 at age 74.
