Biography

Bob Dishy is an American actor of stage, film, and television. Born in Brooklyn to a Sephardic Jewish family, he began acting at age 11 and studied drama at Syracuse University, graduating in 1955. After college, he performed alongside notable figures like Carol Burnett, Woody Allen, and Sheldon Harnick before serving in the U.S. Army, where he toured with a show called Rolling Along.
