Biography

David Silva was a Mexican actor and occasional producer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Born on October 8, 1917, in Mexico City to a musical family, he began his career as an extra before landing starring roles in films like "La isla de la pasión" (1946) and winning an Ariel Award for "Champion Without a Crown". His life took a tragic turn with serious injuries from a car accident in 1971, leading to multiple amputations and eventual death in 1976.
