Biography

Richard Marius Joseph Greene was a noted English film and television actor, known for his iconic role as Robin Hood in the long-running British TV series The Adventures of Robin Hood, which ran from 1955 to 1960. He appeared in over 40 films and had notable roles in "Tales from the Crypt" and "The Castle of Fu Manchu". Born on August 25, 1918, Greene began his stage career as a spear carrier in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar at the Old Vic in 1933.
