Biography

Shinichi Himori was a renowned Japanese film actor born in Tokyo on January 10, 1907. He rose to prominence at Shochiku studios in the 1920s and became known for his realistic acting style, starring in notable films like Yasujirō Ozu's "The Only Son." With a career spanning over three decades, Himori appeared in more than seventy films before his death from a heart attack in 1959.
