Tuva Novotny is a Swedish actress and director born on December 21, 1979, in Stockholm to Czech film director David Jan Novotný and Swedish artist Barbro Hedström. She trained in classical ballet and theatre at Vår teater and St Erik's High School before studying drama in the Czech Republic. Her notable roles include Kim in the play Limbo at Stockholm City Theatre and her appearances in films like Eat Pray Love.
