Intrigo: Death of an Author

A young author, David, discovers a manuscript sent by critically acclaimed writer Germund Rein, just before his suicide. David meets Alex Henderson, the author, on a Greek island, and shares the story of his novel, which intertwines his own life with the plot. Character Benno Fürmann plays David, and Ben Kingsley stars as Alex Henderson. The film is based on Håkan Nesser's novellas and marks the first installment of the Intrigo franchise.
