Kanako Higuchi

Biography

Kanako Higuchi is a Japanese actress born on December 13, 1958, in Kamo, Niigata. She began her career at age 20 with the television drama Kōrogi-bashi and has since appeared in notable films like Zatoichi (1989) and Casshern (2004), as well as TV dramas such as Dokuganryū Masamune (1987). Higuchi won Best Supporting Actress at the 15th Hochi Film Awards for Rōningai. She has also represented cosmetics firms KOSÉ and Kao.
