Douglas William Hodge is an English actor and director born on February 25, 1960, in Plymouth, Devon. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art but left before graduating, which never deterred his passion for acting. Notable highlights include roles in notable theatre productions with Harold Pinter, such as "No Man's Land" and "The Caretaker", and later, appearances in film and television series like "Penny Dreadful" and "Lost in Space".
