Celia Imrie is a highly acclaimed English actress born on July 15, 1952, in Guildford, Surrey. She has established herself as one of the most successful British actresses of recent decades, known for film roles in the Bridget Jones series, Calendar Girls, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, among others. Imrie won an Olivier Award in 2006 and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2023 for her services to drama.
