Earthquake

A catastrophic earthquake hits Southern California and begins to level Los Angeles, causing widespread destruction and chaos as various interconnected people struggle to survive, including former college football star and construction engineer Stewart Graff (Charlton Heston), who finds himself at the center of the disaster, amidst a cast of characters including a part-time actress Denise Marshall (Geneviève Bujold), a motorcycle daredevil Miles Quade (Richard Roundtree), and a police officer Lew Slade (George Kennedy).
