Move Over, Darling

Doris Day plays Ellen Wagstaff Arden, a woman who was presumed dead after a plane crash in the South Pacific and returns to her husband Nicholas Arden, played by James Garner, who has remarried to Bianca Steele, played by Polly Bergen. Ellen, determined to get her man back, sets out to win him over, but her efforts lead to a series of comedic misunderstandings and mishaps. Thelma Ritter plays Ellen's mother-in-law, Grace Arden, who is shocked by Ellen's return.
