In "Female Prisoner #701: Scorpion," Meiko Kaji plays Nami Matsushima, a woman betrayed by her detective lover, Sugimi, who she seeks revenge against after being set up and deceived. Matsushima is sent to prison, where she faces sadistic and lecherous male guards and a network of conspirators who orchestrate her downfall. Seeking revenge, Matsushima defends herself against attackers, kills a fellow prisoner, and ultimately escapes and kills Sugimi and the yakuza.
