Little Shop of Horrors

Seymour Krelborn, a nerdy orphan working at Mushnik's flower shop in urban Skid Row, discovers a mysterious unidentified plant he calls Audrey II, which seems to have a craving for blood and begins to sing for its supper. The plant brings much business to the shop but soon starts to wither, forcing Seymour to discover that it needs human blood to thrive. As Audrey II grows rapidly, it earns Seymour a spot on a local radio show, making him a celebrity, while Audrey struggles with her abusive boyfriend Orin Scrivello and secretly dreams of being married to Seymour. In the end, Seymour feeds the plant to become successful and win Audrey's heart, but realizes he must destroy it to save Audrey from its unbridled appetite.
