American Guerrilla in the Philippines

In "American Guerrilla in the Philippines," Tyrone Power stars as Ensign Chuck Palmer, a U.S. Navy ensign stranded by the Japanese occupation of the Philippines in World War II. Alongside his allies, including Micheline Presle's Jeanne Martinez and Tom Ewell's Jim Mitchell, Chuck forms a guerrilla band to fight back against their Japanese captors. After three years of fighting, Chuck and Jeanne's love blossoms as American forces begin to liberate the Philippines, saving them from certain capture in a church by a Japanese patrol.
