Biography
Tyrone Power was a dashing romantic swashbuckling star of the mid-twentieth century, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1914 to a renowned theatrical family. He struggled early on, but his striking good looks and swordplay skills led to leading roles at 20th Century Fox by 1936, cementing his status as one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Power served in World War II and continued to excel on screen and stage before tragically dying from a heart attack at 44.
