Till We Meet Again

Saburo Tajima (Eiji Okada), a pacifist and amateur poet, forms a connection with Keiko Ono (Yoshiko Kuga) during World War II-era Japan, after protecting her from shelling in a shelter. As Saburo tries to avoid his family's disappointment over his lack of patriotism, he meets Keiko again at an advertisement studio where she works, and they spend time together discussing art and life. Despite the threat of war separating them, Saburo and Keiko find comfort in each other's company and eventually confess their love for one another.
