Eiji Okada
Biography
Eiji Okada was a Japanese film actor born on June 13, 1920, who served in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II before becoming an actor. He gained international recognition for his roles in Hiroshima mon amour (1959) and Woman in the Dunes (1964), which showcased his ability to learn and perform non-native languages. Okada also appeared in several Japanese films, including Lost Love (1978) and The Yakuza (1974).
