I Am a Cat

In this 1975 Japanese film, Tatsuya Nakadai plays a beleaguered English teacher beset on all sides by chaos - at home, where his ditzy wife and three young children wreak havoc; at school, where a corrupt businessman controls the establishment he despises; and among friends who spend their days lounging around. Amidst this mayhem, a grey-furred feline companion provides an air of bemused tranquility.
