White Dog

Kristy McNichol stars as Julie Sawyer, a young actress who adopts a lost German shepherd dog that has been trained to attack black people. Paul Winfield plays Keys, the animal trainer who tries to cure the dog of its racist programming. While driving through Los Angeles at night, Julie runs over the dog and brings it home, unaware of its sinister past. The dog's attacks escalate, killing a black truck driver and mauling a black actress on set, prompting Julie to seek help from trainers Carruthers and Keys, who embark on a desperate attempt to retrain the dog before it kills again.
