The Cobweb

The Cobweb is a 1955 drama film about patients and staff at a posh psychiatric clinic whose personal issues and conflicts come to a head when they clash over new drapes for the clinic's library. As tensions rise, Dr. Stewart McIver (Richard Widmark) must navigate his own marriage problems and deal with the increasingly unstable patients, including Stevie Holte (John Kerr), who attempts suicide after discovering his artwork has been replaced by new drapes that don't meet his vision.
