Afire

Afire, Christian Petzold's latest drama/wry comedy, weaves a searing tale of four old/newfound friends unwittingly drawn together at a summer house near the Baltic Sea. Their time together proves revelatory, stressful and enlightening, in part because of their interactions, the disclosures that come out of those relationships. A burning backdrop of forest wildfires looms over their idyllic getaway, serving as a potent catalyst for the characters' desires, love, and sex to take center stage.
