Wee Willie Winkie

In 1897, Shirley Temple plays Priscilla "Winkie" Williams, a young girl who accompanies her widowed mother and army colonel paternal grandfather to live on a military outpost in northern India. Along the way, they witness the capture of freedom fighter chief Khoda Khan (Cesar Romero), whom Winkie wins over with her charm, eventually persuading him to stop fighting and leading to an end to the rebellion. With the help of her grandfather, Colonel Williams (C. Aubrey Smith), and Sergeant Donald MacDuff (Victor McLaglen), Winkie forms a bond with even the most unlikely of individuals, including Khan.
