Giuliano Gemma

Biography

Giuliano Gemma was an Italian actor born in Rome, who initially worked as a stuntman before landing acting roles, including appearances in Luchino Visconti's Il Gattopardo and Spaghetti Westerns such as A Pistol for Ringo and Day of Anger. He won a David di Donatello award for his role in The Desert of the Tartars (1976). Gemma continued to act throughout his career, also working in Italian television and art-house films.
