Mario Brega was a Italian character actor born in Rome, who initially found success playing thug roles in Spaghetti Westerns before transitioning to comedy films with director Carlo Verdone. He made notable appearances in Sergio Leone's classic westerns, including "Once Upon a Time in America" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Brega stood at 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighed over 250 pounds at his heaviest.
