The story of an old Jewish widow named Daisy Werthan and her relationship with her black chauffeur, Hoke Colburn, develops over 25 years into a strong friendship between two very different characters in Atlanta during a time when those relationships were shunned. Morgan Freeman plays the role of Hoke Colburn, Jessica Tandy stars as Daisy Werthan, and Dan Aykroyd is among those who bring this tale to life.
