Ugetsu

In 16th century Japan, two men are torn apart by greed and desire. A farmer, Genjūrō, pursues wealth and a mysterious woman, Lady Wakasa, while his brother-in-law, Tōbei, chases the dream of becoming a samurai at any cost. As their paths diverge, they risk destroying everything that truly matters: themselves, their families, and their very souls.
