Ukigusa

A theater troupe master, Ganjirō Nakamura II (Komajuro Arashi), visits his old flame, Oyoshi, who runs a small eatery in a seaside town. Their reunion sets off a chain of unexpected events with devastating consequences. Meanwhile, the troupe's aging lead actor, Komajuro, must confront his grown-up son, Kiyoshi, who is unaware that Komajuro is his father. As Komajuro tries to make amends, he must navigate his complicated relationships with his son, his mistress, Sumiko, and the young actress, Kayo, who becomes embroiled in the drama.
